Boston, MA – The Boston Bolts announce Jonathan Burns as Head Coach of the U15 & U19 MLS Next teams. With 15 years of experience as a youth coach, Burns joins the Bolts with an exceptional track record of youth development.

We’ve had the pleasure of working closely alongside the best clubs in the country in the MLS Next and together, we’re excited to continue building an exceptional player pathway for elite players in the United States,” Boston Bolts CEO, Brian Ainscough said. “This competition is going to be fantastic and it’ll give our Bolts players a wonderful platform to develop to their full potential.”

The Boston Bolts today announced Gabe Margolis has been named the head coach of the USL League Two team.

RPM Athlete Performance To Become The Official Performance Training Facility Of The Boston Bolts

The Boston Bolts and Mortgage Network, Inc. today announced a partnership agreement through which Mortgage Network will become the Official Mortgage Partner of the Boston Bolts. Within the agreement, the two organizations will combine their collective experience and expertise to provide a full range of mortgage options and solutions to the nearly 2,000 members of the club.

The Boston Bolts announced Bruno Bonicontro as the Northeast Academy Coordinator (U11 & U12) on June 22, 2022. Following a great year as a head coach for the U11 and U12 Boston Bolts Northeast Academy teams, Bruno will oversee all aspects of operations and player development for the Northeast Academy program moving forward.

The Boston Bolts will join the New England Club Soccer League (NECSL) for the 2022/23 season. The NECSL is affiliated with U.S. Youth Soccer, the largest youth sport organization in the country. The move enables the Bolts to offer more collaborative opportunities to enhance our soccer offerings throughout the region.

Tryout season can be a nerve-racking time for players as they think about their options for the following season. Whether they are looking to move up to a higher level, or make the jump to a new club, here are some tips for how players can prepare for soccer tryouts.

At the age of 25, Austin Reynolds is already making a name for himself in the coaching world. Austin is currently an assistant coach and analyst with Philadelphia Union II, as well as an academy staff member with the club. This is his second season as a member of the Union, where he has worked to alongside some of the brightest young prospects in the country. Read the article for insights from Austin Reynolds!

The Boston Bolts are excited to announce that the club will host a special “Irish Celebration Night” in recognition of the profound impact Boston’s Irish community has had on the team’s past, present and future. The Boston Bolts irish Celebration Night will be held on Saturday, June 11th during the club’s USL League Two game against Vermont Green FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00pm at the UMass - Mount Ida Stadium Field in Newton, MA.

The Boston Bolts and the NEP believe in supporting everyone that is involved with our game. We believe that if we can all work together our kids and players will ultimately enjoy their soccer experiences as much as possible. We are thrilled to be working with Skye Eddy and the Sideline Project and hope that our efforts this March support improved game day environments for our players, coaches, referees and spectators this Spring 2022 season.

When it comes to the character that the Boston Bolts look for in their players, you will not find a better representation than Kyle Ryan. After competing for the club at the Development Academy and USL 2 level, Kyle joined the Bolts staff this past year as the USL 2 Program Coordinator, and a Zone 1 Head coach.
