Having moved from Uruguay to Leominster, Massachusetts, at a young age, Diego’s innate talent was evident, and his years with the Bolts helped lay the foundation for what would become a remarkable professional career. His dedication and passion for the game were clear even then, leading him to become a standout player and a shining example of the talent fostered at the Boston Bolts.
Diego went on to become a groundbreaking “Homegrown” player for the New England Revolution, where he spent over a decade, setting numerous club records and becoming one of the league’s most consistent and creative attacking midfielders. After a successful spell with Austin FC, Diego now continues to impress in Major League Soccer as a vital part of the LA Galaxy’s MLS Cup winning squad. His journey from our local fields to the biggest stages of professional soccer serves as an incredible inspiration to all aspiring young players at the Boston Bolts, demonstrating that hard work, talent, and dedication can truly take you anywhere in the world of soccer.
