Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Shane brings a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience to the Bolts. Before moving to the United States, he spent many years working with grassroots clubs across South County Dublin, laying the foundation for his passion for player development.
For nearly 15 years, Shane has been a dedicated coach in Massachusetts, with the past three focused on building and elevating the Bolts Girls Program. As Head of the Girls Program, he is committed to expanding competitive pathways that align with the highest ambitions of female players. His vision includes strengthening the Foundation and Grassroots levels to create a clear, structured progression into the club’s platform teams.
Driven by a passion for excellence, Shane is determined to make the Bolts Girls Program one of the strongest in the state—ensuring that development, growth, and opportunity are at the core of every age group.
GA Aspire Director
Alissa Pantuosco
GA Aspire Director
Alissa Pantuosco is a UEFA C licensed coach with over eight years of experience. She is the GA Aspire Director of the Girls Program at the Boston Bolts, overseeing coach and player development and program management.
A former Division I player at Clemson and Elon, she also competed in the USL W League with Charlotte. Originally from South Carolina, she began training players at 17, many of whom went on to Division I programs.
Her coaching path includes top academies such as NASA Tophat (ranked among the nation’s best), Southern Soccer Academy, and Inter Atlanta FC. She holds a B.S. in Sports Management from Elon and an M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Georgia, where she worked with Chicago Fire FC on first-team meal planning and academy nutrition education.
Blending her coaching, playing, and academic expertise, Alissa focuses on technical excellence, holistic development, and empowering players on and off the field.

Alexandra Baltas
DPL Director
Alex Baltas has been playing soccer since the age of five and quickly grew a love for the game. She competed at the highest level of club soccer in the ECNL with Scorpions SC before continuing her career at the collegiate level, playing Division II soccer at Saint Anselm College.
With over a year and a half of coaching experience, Alex is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of the game with young athletes. She is dedicated to helping players develop their skills, grow their confidence, and enjoy the game both on and off the field.
Alex is now the Director of DPL at Boston Bolts, where she continues to foster player development and leadership within the program.
NAL West Director
Breena proctor
NAL West Girls Director
Breena Proctor is in her fifth year as Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Mount Holyoke College, where she has led a competitive and cultural rebuild within the NEWMAC. Known for her energetic, player-centered approach, she emphasizes long-term development both on and off the field while expanding national and international recruiting pathways.
In addition to her coaching role, Proctor serves as Mount Holyoke’s SAAC Administrator and previously held the role of Interim Associate Athletic Director. She is a graduate of the WeCOACH Coaches Academy and the NCAA Women Coaches Academy.
Previously, Proctor has held head coaching positions at Saint Xavier University, Rockford University, and SUNY Purchase, and has worked extensively in elite club environments guiding players through the college recruiting process. As a player, she competed at Springfield College, helping the program to three NEWMAC titles and four NCAA Tournament appearances.
Girls Elite Goalkeeping Coach
Bella Mendoza
Girls Elite Programs Goalkeeping Director
Originally from San Ramon, California, Bella brings an elite goalkeeping pedigree to the Bolts. She played five years of Division I soccer at UMass Amherst, earning her place in the record books for career saves, and went on to compete semi-professionally in the USL with Oakland Soul and Tallahassee Reckoning.
Bella’s passion, intensity, and commitment to developing the next generation of keepers shines through in everything she does. Alongside her youth coaching experience, she currently serves as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at Merrimack College — and now she’s bringing that excellence to the Bolts.
