Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Shane brings a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience to the Bolts. Before moving to the United States, he spent many years working with grassroots clubs across South County Dublin, laying the foundation for his passion for player development.

For nearly 15 years, Shane has been a dedicated coach in Massachusetts, with the past three focused on building and elevating the Bolts Girls Program. As Head of the Girls Program, he is committed to expanding competitive pathways that align with the highest ambitions of female players. His vision includes strengthening the Foundation and Grassroots levels to create a clear, structured progression into the club’s platform teams.

Driven by a passion for excellence, Shane is determined to make the Bolts Girls Program one of the strongest in the state—ensuring that development, growth, and opportunity are at the core of every age group.

Alissa P

Alissa Pantuosco

GA Aspire Director


Alissa Pantuosco is a UEFA C licensed coach with over eight years of experience. She is the GA Aspire Director of the Girls Program at the Boston Bolts, overseeing coach and player development and program management.

A former Division I player at Clemson and Elon, she also competed in the USL W League with Charlotte. Originally from South Carolina, she began training players at 17, many of whom went on to Division I programs.

Her coaching path includes top academies such as NASA Tophat (ranked among the nation’s best), Southern Soccer Academy, and Inter Atlanta FC. She holds a B.S. in Sports Management from Elon and an M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Georgia, where she worked with Chicago Fire FC on first-team meal planning and academy nutrition education.

Blending her coaching, playing, and academic expertise, Alissa focuses on technical excellence, holistic development, and empowering players on and off the field.

Alexandra Baltas

DPL Director


Alex Baltas has been playing soccer since the age of five and quickly grew a love for the game. She competed at the highest level of club soccer in the ECNL with Scorpions SC before continuing her career at the collegiate level, playing Division II soccer at Saint Anselm College.

With over a year and a half of coaching experience, Alex is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of the game with young athletes. She is dedicated to helping players develop their skills, grow their confidence, and enjoy the game both on and off the field.

Alex is now the Director of DPL at Boston Bolts, where she continues to foster player development and leadership within the program.

Peter DeMello has been a staple within the Western Massachusetts soccer scene for decades. Peter's deep-rooted commitment to fostering local talent and building strong community ties has been evident throughout his extensive coaching career. He is a beloved figure, known for his genuine care for players and his dedication to providing positive soccer experiences. Peter's profound impact on countless young athletes in Western Massachusetts embodies the spirit of the game and our club's values.
