Boston Bolts Officially Join the DPL
FC Boston Bolts are proud to announce their acceptance into the Development Player League DPL for the 25/26 season.
The Bolts will compete in the New England conference of the DPL and will provide our girls platform with a complete level of competition. The Boston Bolts will have teams representing the Bolts from U13 (2013) up to U19 (2007/08).
FC Boston Bolts Girls Director Shane O’ Sullivan commented. “We are over the moon to be able to provide access to the Development Academy League (DPL) for our girl’s teams. We are thankful to Lee and all the staff at the DPL for this amazing opportunity to showcase the really amazing growth of our girls at the Bolts have achieved in recent years. Elite Coaches, Clear Vision for DPL
A former four-year player at Curry College, Alex Baltas began coaching during college and has since spent nearly seven years helping players grow in the club environment. She’s now in her third season as an assistant coach for the UMass Dartmouth women’s soccer team.

The DPL functions as a high-level, standards-driven platform that is closely connected to and acts as a second tier or proving ground for the Girls Academy (GA) league. This structure provides a clear developmental pathway for ambitious players and clubs, offering a professional training environment and fostering skill growth in a competitive setting.

Boston Bolts Girls DPL ID Events give players the platform to showcase their talent, compete in a high-level environment, and be evaluated by our professional coaching staff.
Standout players will earn the opportunity to join our Girls DPL teams — providing a clear pathway for development, competition, and advancement within one of the nation’s top platforms for aspiring female athletes.
