Ana Holz. Director of Female Performance.
Building a top female pathway doesn’t happen by accident. It takes people who understand development, who coach with intention, and who believe that high standards and player-centered care aren’t opposites — they’re the same thing.
The club has promoted Ana to Director of Female Performance because she personifies these beliefs. She joined the Bolts earlier this year as North Shore Regional Director and head coach within the Girls Academy Aspire platform, and her impact was immediate. A U.S. Soccer Coaching Educator. A USSF A-License candidate. More than a decade of experience coaching girls’ and women’s soccer across youth, ODP, collegiate, and pre-professional levels.
But the credential that matters most? Her philosophy.
In Ana’s own words: “Our goal isn’t to create a separate identity for the female program, but to evolve and apply The Bolts Way through a female-specific lens — the same player-centered development and high standards that have made this club successful, delivered in a way that best serves the female athlete.”
That is The Bolts Way. Not copy-paste. Not one-size-fits-all. A commitment to applying the same developmental standard through the lens that serves each player best.
Under Greig Robertson’s guidance as Technical Director, Ana will shape the strategic and technical direction of the female pathway while continuing to coach directly. |
