Boston Bolts MLS NEXT Player Logan Moniz Invited To U-15 U.S. Men's Youth National Team Training Camp
BOSTON - The Boston Bolts announced on Tuesday, August 30th that MLS Next player Logan Moniz has been invited to the upcoming U-15 U.S. Men’s Youth National Team training camp, taking place from August 31-September 6 in Chula Vista, CA.
"Logan is a fantastic person who has an incredible appetite for the game. He has taken ownership of his performance by remaining humble, working hard and committing to an Individual Development Plan,” said MLS Next coach Sean Napier. "Everyone at the club is excited and proud for Logan to attend the U15 Youth National Team camp in California. Logan's call-up highlights the opportunities and exposure available to players within the Bolts system.
Moniz competed with the Boston Bolts U-14 team last season, where he recorded a hat trick against New York City FC, opened the scoring against LAFC at the 2022 MLS Next Cup Showcase in July and was selected to the ‘MLS Next Best Of’ game. He is one of only 3 players from a non-MLS academy to be invited to the East team at the U-15 U.S. Men’s Youth National Team training camp. Moniz is following in the footsteps of Boston Bolts alumni such as Miles Robinson, Marzuq Puckerin and Diego Fagundez to be called in to a United States Men’s Youth National Team training camp.
